Poetry dissolves foreign existences into itself.
~ Novalis [Blütenstaub, p. 49]
Pollen & Fragments refers to Blütenstaub (“Pollen”), an early philosophical work by the German Romantic poet Novalis published in 1798. One of the most important sources of 19th-century Romanticism, it consists of aphorisms and texts that range from laconic to dream-like to mystical as it concerns itself with many subjects: poetry, art, language, epistemology, philosophy of science, religion and metaphysics.
