Poetry dissolves foreign existences into itself.
~ Novalis

Pollen and Fragments remixes imagery from materials left behind by the artist’s grandfather, Egyptian Romantic poet and bee scientist Ahmed Zaky Abushâdy (1892-1955). It refers to Blütenstaub (Pollen, 1798), a philosophical work by the German Romantic poet Novalis consisting of texts that range from laconic to dream-like to mystical.
